Mark White Mark obtained his music degree from the Royal Northern College of Music in 2003. He was previously principal saxophone of the National Youth Wind Orchestra of Great Britain and now works with Big Bands, Wind ensembles and new music groups throughout the country. |
He has played in many orchestras for musical theatre on Saxophone, Clarinet and Piano and regularly works recording sessions. Mark also appears on numerous television shows including working on ‘Stars In Their Eyes’ and the ITV drama ‘Island At War’.
Besides his classical playing Mark also plays many jazz gigs having appeared with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, and other ensembles at festivals including Manchester Jazz Festival and the Jersey Jazz Festival. Mark is also a composer and arranger, working in a diverse range of styles including music for the quartet. He is currently concentrating on music for media and film, as well as writing and producing a pop album with quartet member Simon Murray. Visit Mark’s website: www.markwhitemedia.com |
